Here is the first maternity session I did with my sister, Julie. She’s pregnant with her second child and we decided to do an early maternity session. She was 28 weeks at the time of the photo session. A lot of people ask me when’s the best time to do maternity photos. I think it’s better to do it between 32 and 36 weeks. Early enough so that you still feel comfortable and are not too swollen and late enough so that you can really show off your nice round belly. We will do another maternity session in a few weeks to mark her 36 week of pregnancy. I can’t wait to see little Isabella’s face

Louise and Ivy’s friends bought them a gift certificate for some newborn/family photo session with me as a gift for their Baby Shower. Baby Loïc was only about 10 days old in the pictures.You can see how proud mama and papa are of their little boy…

Louise and Ivy asked me to do their maternity pictures to document their pregnancy. Louise was 38 weeks pregnant with Loïc at the time of the session. Here’s a few pictures of the maternity session. You can see that they are both waiting anxiously the arrival of their baby. As I’m writing this Blog, Louise & Ivy just welcomed their little baby to the world.

Spring in Bloom

Melissa & Michel’s wedding was at Le Pays de la Saguine in Bouctouche, NB. I did their engagement session a few months before their Big day and I could see that Melissa & Michel had a great complicity and shared a great sense of humour. After the wedding ceremony, we went to the Irving Arboretum in Bouctouche and we were blessed with beautiful bloomed trees as backdrops . The colors were amazing! From pink, red to vivacious greens, the sights were an art portrait for itself. The green dresses of the Bridesmaids fitted right in the nature settings. Melissa & Michel danced the night away with their guests and took pictures at the photo booth we had provided. Congrats!

I first met Natasha and Jean-Denis over a year ago when Philippe and I photographed their wedding. I was so happy to hear that they just had a little baby girl. As a mother of a one year old girl, I know that the first year goes by so fast and that you have to enjoy every moment of it. I was very honoured they asked me to do their newborn pictures.

Winter Wonderland Wedding

Nathalie & Derek’s love story began years ago… During a romantic trip to Disney Land Derek proposed, the way a Prince Charming would proposed to Cinderella, in front of the Castle at The Magic Kingdom. Nathalie spent the next few months planning her dream wedding.
They decided on a winter wedding. Many people told them it was a crazy idea. “It’s so cold”. “You know there will be snow outside… right?!” But those comments never phased Nathalie & Derek.

Nathalie started the day relaxing at home with her bridesmaids Julie and Penelope while getting their hair done by Mel Cameron. They then headed to Merle Norman for makeup. Meanwhile, Derek spent some time with his family. The couple arranged to meet at Irishtown Park before the wedding ceremony to spend some quality time together and to get a few intimate pictures.

The wedding ceremony and reception were held at La Teraz in Moncton. The beautiful decor, by Christine of Imagination Decor, set the mood for the wedding ceremony. Nathalie is an extremely talented musician and created the arrangements for all the music her string ensemble played. She surprised Derek with an arrangement of “You are my Sunshine” which brought everyone to tears. (Derek always sings that song to Nathalie)

We are glad they had such a nice day for their wedding. We can say that Nathalie found her prince charming. We wish you lots of love and a beautiful long life together.

A little adventure before tying the knot!

Melanie & Jeff decided to meet before the wedding. Jeff (and the dog) were waiting at a little gazebo for Melanie to make her appearance. This little reveal ceremony gave them time to share a special moment before heading to Irishtown Nature park. Melanie & Jeff thought it would be fun
to take some pictures canoeing all dressed up! Fanny and I love it when couples incorporate their hobbies in their wedding pictures. The ceremony and reception were held at Royal Oaks Golf Course. The weather held for the ceremony and we had a nice quick sun shower to start off the wonderful
evening. All and all a great day. Congrats again Melanie & Jeff!
